I really hate this picture...everything is just wrong about it and you can see all the pencil lines in the skin (intended effect on the hair) and it just went really crappy finishing it towards the end. If I could I would love to re-do the entire thing but I can't and i'm really unhappy with it. The only thing I like is the tonal section and the hair and the skin just looks the crappiest thing I've ever done.
And for the record...I don't have blue hair. I have brown hair (which has somehow turned more blonde over the course of the Summer, but oh well). A friend at school persuaded me to do blue hair....

I think it's evident that you would look good with blue hair. Also the pencil lines on the skin give it a nice look to it.\
I'm not an artist so I don't know the word for it. I think you're just harsh on it because it's your own face.
